My culinary journey started at a very young age watching my grandfather cook for our family. He gained his experience in the US Navy as Admiral Halsey's personal chef during World War II. Sharing his experience with his grandkids, he taught me two things:

1.   If you give something your all, you will reap the rewards of
satisfaction and love.
2.   One's love for food and one's love for family go hand-in-hand.

I have been a cooking professional for 40 years in the Bay Area with experience in hotels, corporate dining, and large offsite catering companies. At the Culinary Institute of America, I've completed the Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program where I was one of sixteen chosen from around the nation to participate. Being designed for proven culinary professionals and industry leaders, I'm truly humbled to have graduated from the CEIP almost a decade ago.

In my personal life, I am the proud husband of my wife Liberty. 2024 marks our 33rd wedding anniversary. We are the parents of five children—three of whom decided to join us at work truly making Catered Too a family business in every sense of the term. Taking after Grandpa Eliseo, I strive every day to not only improve the way that we cook but most importantly the way that we love.
