Kim Ferchau - Operations Manager / 2017
I've always put my all into any job I have done and enjoyed it but it wasn't until I got into events 6 years ago that I really found my passion. I hadn't considered events as a career path until I was thrown into it by my boss at the time. It was not love at first sight but after found my feet and learned enough to do a good job it became clear to me that this was where I was meant to be. I worked my way up to Director of events with that company and learned many lessons along the way.
I am happy to bring that experience to the Catered Too family. I use that word, family, as that is really what it is like here and one of the main reasons I love working at Catered Too. We have a lot of fun while working really hard to make catering magic happen. One of my favorite things about working with Catered Too is the huge events that we cater, making it all come together for up to 10,000 people is amazing.
Outside of work, I love to be outdoors with my Husband. We love to go camping - the more remote and off the beaten track, the better. I also love food, which is a good thing as an operations manager of a catering company. We spend our spare time going to food festivals and trying new cuisine. I like to focus on healthy food options but I can never turn down a good helping of tater tots or mint choice chip ice cream.
