When I was 13 I started working in restaurants and quickly discovered the hospitality business was in my blood. Spending some time as a young adult in the Tech world gave me an excellent education on how to build a great company!
I love the creative aspect of events, working with clients towards their goal for the event and coming up with the best way to achieve those goals, within budget and producing an event that keeps everyone talking for years to come. The instant gratification at the end of an event with happy and grateful guests is one of the greatest benefits.
What I truly enjoy about my role now is giving back – being able to spend time giving back to our community in so many different ways. Staying involved in associations to build the Catering and Events business into a more professional industry. And working with employees to build on their talents to have a career that is more rewarding personally and financially. My daily reward is watching those people grow.
The best part of our new location is I can just step out the door and go running around the San Francisco Bay, training for my next Marathon where ever that may be!
